On September 16^th, Zhang Chang’er, the standing committee member of provincial party committee, studied the agricultural industrialization and new countryside construction in our district. He required that we should actively develop the advantageous agricultural products deep processing industry, make the farm produce processing industry cluster bigger and stronger, strengthen on market and information system construction, and continue to play a leading role in the agricultural industrialization and new countryside construction in the whole province.

Zhang Chang’er pointed out that the Dongxihu district government and party committee attached great importance to the work of "agriculture, farmer and countryside". There are new breakthroughs in agricultural industrialization, new effects in pilot rural construction, and new improvements in rural infrastructure. The whole district has presented the good trend of steady development of agriculture, faster increase in farmers’ income, and the all-round countryside development.

Zhang Chang’er stressed that Dongxihu district should further deepen the rural reform, and implement all the policies that benefit farmers.

The first is to use the idea of enterprise management in agriculture, perfect the work of base based on characteristics, that of industry based on scale, that of brand based on market, and that of development based on efficiency. Make efforts to foster the leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, and promote the intensification and large-scale of agricultural production.

The second is to constantly improve the level of rural social services and promote the development of social causes in rural areas;

The third is to take positive measures to develop the advantageous agricultural products deep processing industry with high technology content, long industrial chain, high value added level, and in line with the requirements of comprehensive utilization and recycling economy, strengthen the link between the dominant industries.

The fourth is to highlight the "blood relationship" and “geographical relationship" between leading enterprises and the regions with advantages, strengthen on building the market and information system. Energetically develop the new mode of marketing such as order form in agriculture, on-line marketing, direct marketing and distribution and so on. Put the green channel policy of agricultural products into effect, allowing more farmers to share the results of industrialization management.

The fifth is to further definite the goal, ideas and conditions of building the new countryside. Try hard in the compilation of planning, industrial development and make greater efforts to actively promote the orderly construction of new countryside.
