On August 7, Wuhan Customs and the district government held the signing ceremony, officially confirming Wuhan Customs Jianghan Office move into Jinyinhu of our district. He Shukun the commissioner of Wuhan Customs, Yan Puliu, district party secretary and Wang Xiangwang, head of the district and such personages attended the signing ceremony.  

Yan Puliu, district party secretary pointed out in delivering the welcome speech at the signing ceremony: the official move of Wuhan Customs into Dongxihu District will not only help us catch new huge opportunities brought by international and domestic industries shifting especially those of high foreign dependency, but also give impetus to speed up our opening to the outside world, forge the port cluster and boost regional economic development. Secretary Yan Puliu stressed that Wuhan Customs is the national supervision institution for entry/exit of the country, is the direct affiliate to the General Administration of Customs, while the Jianghan Office of Wuhan Customs is the primary business department of Wuhan Customs. The move into our district is not only the strategic action for the Customs to base itself in constructing Wuhan Megalopolis and serve the local economy, but also the inaugural chapter for the industrial capabilities promotion, regional radiance strengthening of the pan-Jinyinhu area in our district. Most noteworthy is that the move-in will certainly bring a large number of production service enterprises to act accordingly. The custom clearance companies and financial enterprises will effectively impel the modern service industry in pan-Jinyinhu area. It is reported that with the vigorous support of Wuhan Customs, the Hubei Bonded Logistics Center, Hubei Electronic Port have already settled down in our district.
