  According to the news of Wuhan Morning Post, Dongxihu district, located at the northwest corner of Wuhan, is planning its new blueprint. In the near future, a “sub-town” for logistics which integrates automobiles and machinery markets, commerce, tourism, etc. will emerge at the Jinyin Lake. Zhejiang Logistics Network

    规划部门昨透露，武汉保税物流园区总体规划、东西湖区将军路街用地布局规划、东西湖区走马岭街总体规划（修编）等三幅蓝图，已初步出炉。浙江物流网

  The planning department released yesterday that the three blueprints, i.e. the Overall Planning for Wuhan Bonded Zone of Logistics, the Planning for Land Use of Jiangjun Road, Dongxihu District, and the Overall Planning for Zoumaling Street, Dongxihu District (revised) had been initially made out.     武汉保税物流园区，位于京珠高速公路与107国道立交的西南侧、东西湖区汉 丹铁路朱家台车站的北侧。规划范围东起京珠高速，南至汉丹铁路，西达十二支沟，北抵107国道，与规划中的食品加工区相邻，占地面积约4500亩。该片拟重点发展汽车、机械专业大市场和大物流，形成交通枢纽型和城市配送型并蓄的物流园区。浙江物流网

  Wuhan Bonded Zone of Logistics will be located at the southwest side of the flyover linking Beijing-Zhuhai Express Way and No. 107 National Highway and the north side of Zhujiatai Railway Station on the Wuhan-Danjiangkou Railway. This area will cover about 4500 mou (747 acres), running from the Beijing-Zhuhai Express Way in the east to the 12^th Zhigou in the west and reaching the Wuhan-Danjiangkou Railway in the south and the No.107 National Highway in the north, neighboring a planned food processing zone. This area will lay special emphasis on the development of large professional markets for automobiles and machinery and logistics so that a logistics park which serves both as a transportation hub and an inner-city distribution center will be formed.     将军路街用地布局，东以东西湖大堤与张公堤连接处为起点，南以张公堤为界，西与径河农场、东西湖区牛奶公司相邻，东、北以府河为界与黄陂区相望，规划范围用地面积14.5平方公里。浙江物流网

  The planned land use of Jiangjun Road will cover 14.5 sq km, running from the junction of the Dongxihu Embankment and the Zhanggong Embankment in the east to the Jinghe Farm and the Dongxihu Dairy Company in the west, extending to the Zhanggong Embankment in the south and facing the Huangpi District on the other side of Fuhe River in the east and north.     依规划，将军路街将打造“一心二区”——“一心”即中心区，以黄塘湖为主体的旅游度假区；“二区”即西区和东区，西区侧重行政、商业、文化，是重要的居住区；东区规划为以高新技术为主的工业园区。浙江物流网

  According to the plan, Jiangjun Road will have “one center and two zones”- “one center” is the tourist resort which takes the Huangtang Lake as the principal part and the “two zones” are the West Zone and the East Zone, with the West Zone as an important residential zone emphasizing on administration, commerce and culture and the East Zone an industrial park taking new and high technology as the dominance.

    走马岭街规划区东邻京珠高速公路，西依汉渝铁路及汉江，南接吴家山台商投资区，北至武汉市外环、杭兰高速，总用地面积约18平方公里。规划用地包括食品加工区、综合物流区、综合配套服务区三部分。浙江物流网

  The planned area of Zoumaling Street will adjacent the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway in the east and the Wuhan-Chengdu Railway and the Hanshui River in the west, reaching the Wujiashan Taiwanese Investment Zone in the south and Wuhan’s Outer Ring Road and the Hangzhou-Lanzhou Expressway in the north, covering some 18 sq km. The planned land use will include three parts, i.e. a Food Processing Zone, a Comprehensive Logistics Zone and a Comprehensive Support and Complete Service Zone.

    专家称，由于坐拥金银湖、背靠台商投资区，又有铁路、航空（往天河机场交通迅捷）资源依托，东西湖发展大型物流可谓占尽天时地利。

  Experts say that as this area embraces the Jinyin Lake and backs to the Taiwanese Investment Zone and is facilitated by the railway and airline (it has easy access to the Tianhe Airport ) resources, Dongxihu district has superior conditions to develop logistics at a large scale.
